Registration Fees & Scholarship Opportunities
For the 2020 season Verona Little League has implemented the following fee structure:
Rookies, Minors and Majors: $240. This includes the $190 registration fee and the $50 raffle*
Intermediate and Juniors: $250. This includes the $200 registration fee and the $50 raffle*
*The calendar raffle is the league’s biggest fund-raiser with all proceeds going into our field development fund, which helps keep the complex one of the best in the area. You can choose to keep the tickets for your family or sell them to help offset your cost. Extra raffle tickets are sold at $10 each.
In addition, VLL only requires the first two players in an immediate family to pay the registration fee. The third and subsequent players are free of charge.
Verona Little League is a volunteer organization, which requires the participation of its members’ families to ensure its success and future sustainability. All families are required to complete six hours of volunteering per player (maximum of 12 hours per family) during the VLL regular season. More hours may be required for players participating in extended or tournament season.
If you are unable to commit to volunteering, there is an optional volunteer buy-out program which can be purchased at registration. The buy-out cost per family is $200.00
Verona Little League does offer partial and full scholarships to a limited number of families each year based on the approved annual budget. If you are interested in exploring scholarship opportunities please contact the VLL president at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss further.
