Verona Little League is a volunteer organization, which requires the participation of its members’ families to ensure its success and future sustainability. All families are required to complete 6 hours of volunteering per player (maximum of 12 hours per family) during the VLL regular season. More hours may be required for players participating in extended or tournament season.
Below are some ways that you can volunteer, however, there are also other positions that fulfill all volunteer hours, including Team Parent and all VLL Board positions.
If you are unable to volunteer for any reason, there is an optional ‘Buyout’ policy available at the time of player registration.
Help us get the season kicked-off right by assisting in various roles for VLL Assessment Day including check-in, helping volunteers get signed-up, and raffle ticket distribution. This is a one-day volunteer opportunity.
Concession sales are our largest fundraising effort. Signup for concessions Volunteers for concession must be at least 18 years old (no exceptions).
Complex Cleanup & Field Maintenance:
Help keep our fields in great shape throughout the season with field care, prep, and cleanup during these available workdays. No experience required. Volunteers for complex cleanup can be any age, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The first time you visit the site this year, it will ask for your e-mail address. Dates with openings are blue in the calendar. Click on a date to see the time slot details or to change your current assignment. After you make a reservation, your shift date will be highlighted in green on the calendar. If you need to change or reschedule a shift (e.g., a night that was rained-out), use the same e-mail when visiting the SignUp link. You do not need to make an account or set a password.
